Fans have joked that Travis Kelce gave Taylor Swift "the ick" after he sang 'Viva Las Vegas' in celebration of his Super Bowl LVIII win.

All eyes were on the 34-year-old megastar at this year's event as she cheered on the Kansas City Chiefs during their match against the San Francisco 49ers at the Allegiant Stadium.

The Chiefs beat the Niners 25-22, securing their third Super Bowl victory in five years after quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw a three-yard touchdown pass to Mecole Hardman with three seconds left to spare. Kelce also made a mark on the pitch, making nine catches for 93 yards.

After the victorious game, the Chiefs tight end's girlfriend - who had been watching from a suite with family and famous friends - joined him on the field to celebrate.

During Kelce's celebrations, the Super Bowl winner confidently sang the lyrics of Elvis Presley's 'Viva Las Vegas' on stage during an interview with CBS, with the 'Red' superstar looking more awkward with every second.

The video left fans thinking that Kelce gave the pop star the "ick," which is a term used to express a sense of discomfort or unease, particularly in social or romantic contexts.

Watch the moment below:

One user shared a video of the awkward moment on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote in the caption: "Taylor Swift has officially gotten the ick," while another chimed in: "That also gave me the ick."

A third user quipped that they saw the 'Karma' songstress get embarrassed "in real-time," adding: "just saw Taylor Swift get the ick in real time," and a fourth added: "Taylor Swift you're a better woman than I. I would simply recoil with the ick."

Body language expert Dr Louise Mahler spoke to Yahoo Lifestyle Australia about Kelce's impromptu performance and revealed what the 'Anti-Hero' singer may have been thinking.

"We can imagine how anyone super excited may have expressed themselves like this, but I think she was horrified, slightly amused, but embarrassed," Mahler told the outlet. "When one sees Taylor Swift at the Grammys [you can tell] she is totally elated by her colleagues' wins. She jumps up and down and laughs and calls out.

"In this footage, she opens, then shuts and holds her mouth tightly. She does not want to open it, suggesting she does not want to say something. Her mouth is slightly smiling, but her eyes lose their sparkle. She is being polite," they added.

The ick was shortlived as Swift joined Kelce and his team at the after-party to celebrate their success.

The Chiefs honored the 14-time Grammy Award winner by asking the DJ to play some of her earliest hits to round off the evening. In one clip shared online, a remix of Swift's 'Love Story' from the Fearless album can be heard while the couple shares a kiss.

The pair then left the Las Vegas nightclub with the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' musician wearing her tight-end boyfriend's black sparkly jacket over her shoulders.
