Weight loss is a challenge. There are no two ways about it. But one celebrity who has managed to shed the pounds this year is The Chase star Mark Labbett.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, Labbett branded himself a "skinny beast", although the Mirror reports that the exact extent of his weight loss is unknown.
Rebel Wilson also recently revealed her stunning weight loss:The 54-year-old TV sensation showed off his new slimmer frame in a picture of himself wearing too-big trousers in front of a mirror.
Last October, it was revealed that he had lost two and a half stone, and it is clear that he has been in the process of losing weight ever since.
He wrote on Twitter yesterday: "Lost a bit of waistline, still a long way to go :) #skinnybeast#doubletwoshirts."
Labbett was flooded with supportive comments in response to the weight loss snap.
In fact, the picture had such an impact on the social media website that people began to share their own weight loss stories.
One Twitter user wrote: "Well done Mark and fair play to you, keep meaning to do do it myself but my will power is non existent."
A second Twitter user shared her before and after weight loss pictures that were captioned: "Well done! I’ve been following @SlimmingWorld and lost over 8 stone in less than a year by still having curry & chips lol."
Meanwhile, a third complimented the star, writing: "Not just #skinnybeast but also #sexybeast. Looking good Mr. Labbett. It's not easy to lose weight congrats!"
A fourth, referring to the lockdown, wrote: "Well done achieving that over the last months. Being in close proximity to my fridge for most of the waking day has certainly been bad for my waistline!"
This comes after Labbett previously refused to appear on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, the Mirror reports, because he said that he wouldn't be able to live on small portions of rice and beans.
