Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker got married last weekend and social media users were left speechless after Kylie Jenner shared an Instagram story of her tiny pasta portion from inside her sister's wedding.
Per the Independent, the 43-year-old reality star and the Blink 182 drummer threw an elaborate wedding ceremony in Portofino, Italy. The couple celebrated the day surrounded by friends and family.
Kardashian and Barker had three unofficial weddings this past year but officially tied the knot on May 15 in Santa Barbara, California. According to People magazine, the couple had to legally get married first before their big Italian wedding.
The 46-year-old musician shared a photo of him and Kourtney at the altar to his 7.2 million followers on Instagram with the caption: "Happily ever after." The social media post amassed almost 2 million likes.
Many photographs and videos from the extravagant event have been shared across social media by guests, with one image, in particular, capturing people’s attention.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder shared a photograph of the pasta that was served at the wedding on her Instagram Story.
One user was quick to share a screenshot of Jenner's story on Twitter with the caption: "The pasta portion size at Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding is [one] of the saddest things I’ve ever seen." The post reached a massive audience and currently has 34.9K retweets and 448.3K likes.
One person reacted: "Just put it in my hand, don’t mock me with a plate."
Another joked and said: "What is it? Pasta for ants?!"
A third commented: "I would eat it right in line and hold my plate out again."
But one person specified that pasta is usually an appetizer in Italy: "Not really. [The] Plates are massive. Look at the serving ladle for scale. I live in Rome and pasta portions are generally small here - pasta is considered a starter not a main in restaurants here."
The Kardashians star wore a stunning Dolce & Gabbana gown complete with a flowing floor-length white veil at her wedding. Her husband matched her by wearing an elegant suit by the same Italian designer.
The married couple’s ceremony was held at L’Olivetta, a villa in Portofino owned by Dolce & Gabbana. The reception was later held at Castello Brown, a castle with views of the Portofino harbor.
The couple shares a blended family with Kardashian's three children with ex-partner Scott Disick, and Barker's son and daughter with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. Barker has also remained close to his step-daughter Atiana.
We wish the couple the very best in their new journey!
