Yesterday, actor Tim Roth announced that his son had tragically passed away at the age of 25.
The grieving family said in a statement that young musician Cormac Roth died on October 16 after a battle with stage three germ cell cancer.
Now, people are remembering Cormac's heartbreaking final message to his followers, when he opened up about his struggle with cancer.
In a video shared to Instagram on August 17, Cormac thanked people for their support, saying: "All of you are so talented, and it blows me away what I see every day when I scroll through, it really does."
He continued: "What you guys make is incredible and just sink your teeth in and remember that life is short and you don't always get to choose your destiny and you don't always get to choose your future but be an undeniable force that lives and breathes the thing you claim that you love and that you are."
"And really do it, if it makes you happy, really do it. That's all I got, and I love you," he concluded.
Watch the full video below:Cormac first revealed his cancer diagnosis in another Instagram post shared in July 2022. He explained that he was diagnosed with stage three germ cell cancer in November 2021.
"It has taken away half of my hearing, 60 pounds of weight, my confidence, and will continue its murderous path until I can manage to stop it some how, and kill it," he wrote.
The 25-year-old went on to say that he hadn't given up hope yet. "It hasn't taken away my will to survive, or my love of making music. It hasn’t taken me down yet," he added.
Tragically, Cormac passed away earlier this month. His family paid tribute to him in a statement, writing: "He was a wild and electric ball of energy and his spirit was filled with light and goodness.
"As wild as he was, Cormac was also the embodiment of kindness. A gentle soul who brought so much happiness and hope to those around him."
The statement concluded: "An irrepressible and joyful and wild and wonderful child. Only recently a man. We love him. We will carry him with us wherever we go."
