Tom Daley was spotting knitting at the Olympics and fans on social media can't get enough of it.

The British diver, 27, who won gold in the men's synchronized 10m platform dive with Matty Lee, per Olympics.com, pursued the relaxing pastime while watching the Women's 3m Springboard Final on Sunday, August 1.

The sweet moment was captured during the main event when the cameras panned to the spectator stand and zoomed in on the Olympian, Insider reports.

A second added: "Good to see circular knitting @TomDaley1994. Just need to move to double pointed to get more traditional! A brilliant stress reliever in Paeds intensive care for me over many years."

A third wrote: "What a champ! Mixing passions unashamedly… showing that this is entirely as it should be. Anyone one of you judging him are the reason why showing this is important. Because people still have issues that really make no sense [sic]."

A fourth remarked: "Can't guarantee as much excitement as Olympic competition but if @TomDaley1994 wants to improve knitting skills then come to Shetland. We have a champion speed knitter amongst our many talented and experienced handknitters."

The Olympic Twitter account went on to reveal that Daley even knitted a little Great Britain pouch for his gold medal.
