Sometimes, even superheroes need a helping hand from their moms.
Tom Holland has revealed that his mom called Spider-Man producers to make sure that - alongside web-slinging and crawling on walls - her son was also getting plenty of chances to go the bathroom while on set.
The British star spoke about the embarrassing experience during an episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan, while promoting his new action flick Uncharted.
It first came up when Ryan Seacrest mentioned how he'd donned his own red and blue spidey suit while filming an annual montage of Oscar-nominated movies.
Holland, 25, asked Seacrest if his version of the iconic superhero suit had had a zipper, adding: "And you know what I mean by a zipper."
The Spider-Man star went on to say that his suit did not have a zipper - which had caused him all kinds of problems.
"On the first movie, I remember we were shooting this sequence on the stack on the Washington Monument, and I was in the suit for days at a time, sort of 11 hours [a day]," Holland recalled.
"I was young and wanted to impress the studio, and didn't want them to think I needed breaks," he continued, before explaining how he had told his mom about the dilemma.
"I remember calling my mom up on our daily phone calls, and I was like, 'Mom, I'm really struggling, I'm working every day, and because I wear the suit, I can't go to the bathroom. And then two days later the producer came up to me and was like, 'How are your kidneys?'"
The young star replied that his kidneys were fine and asked why they were asking.
"He's like, 'Well, your mom called us.' So, my mom called up the biggest studio in the world and was like, 'Give my son more toilet breaks,'" he said.
Since then, Holland has gone on to star in two more spidey films - Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home - alongside his co-star and now girlfriend Zendaya. He also appeared as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame.
His latest movie Uncharted is in movie theaters now.
