Angus T. Jones, the star who played Jake in Two And A Half Men for a decade has been spotted out in public after taking a step away from the spotlight.

Debuting in the role of Jake at the age of 10, Jones quickly became a household name. However, less than a decade later, he shocked fans with a candid video shared on YouTube in November 2012, urging viewers to refrain from watching the show that catapulted him to fame.

"If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men," Jones said in the roughly 14-minute clip, where he delved into his Christian faith.

"I'm on Two and a Half Men and I don't want to be on it. Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth."

"Do some research on the effects of television on your brain and I promise you, you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to what you watch on television. It’s bad news," he continued.

Despite his plea, Jones continued his role on the series until its tenth season finale in May 2013, reportedly earning a staggering $1.2 million per season starting from 2008.

The 30-year-old actor, who portrayed the mischievous yet endearing son of Jon Cryer's character, Alan Harper, was also photographed on Thursday, April 18, taking a stroll in California.

Sporting a baseball cap, sunglasses, and casual attire of a T-shirt and gray sweatpants, Jones had a notably different appearance, now sporting a full beard, per PEOPLE.

Reflecting on his comments about the show in an interview with PEOPLE in October 2016, Jones revealed a shift in perspective.

"If you'd asked me a few years ago if I wanted to get back involved in the industry, I would have said, 'No. Not at all,'" he shared, highlighting his enrollment at the University of Colorado at Boulder and his involvement with Tonite, an events company cofounded by Justin Combs, son of Sean 'Diddy' Combs.

"I got pretty doomsday with my thinking for a long time, but now I'm having fun and enjoying where I'm at," Jones confessed, shedding light on his newfound happiness away from the limelight.

While Jones has largely distanced himself from Hollywood since bidding farewell to Two and a Half Men, he recently made headlines with a cameo appearance alongside former co-star Charlie Sheen in the MAX show Bookies.
