A trailer for Wendy Williams' upcoming documentary has a lot of people talking - especially after the star made some serious health revelations.

The former chat show host appeared in a trailer for her new Lifetime documentary titled Where Is Wendy Williams? where she and her family outlined some of the issues that she has been facing ever since she disappeared off the scene over a year ago.

While the trailer started by showing all the great moments the 59-year-old experienced throughout her career, the tone quickly changed as the truth started coming out.

"My mom has done a good job making it seem like everything is okay always, but in reality, there's something wrong going on," Williams' son, Kevin Hunter Jr. can be heard saying.

Soon enough, we get a glimpse of all the things that have come to plague the star's life and have stopped her from continuing her TV career, including lymphedema and Graves' disease.

Have a look at the trailer below:

As per the Mayo Clinic, lymphedema is when tissues in the body swell which is caused by an accumulation of protein-rich fluid that's usually drained through the body's lymphatic system.

It most commonly affects the arms or legs, but can also occur in the chest wall, abdomen, neck, and genitals as well.

Additionally, Graves' disease is an immune system disorder that results in the overproduction of thyroid hormones (hyperthyroidism), as per the medical clinic. While symptoms can be controlled, it can cause a wide variety of symptoms including heat intolerance, tremors, anxiety and irritability as well as bulging eyes, frequent bowel movements and thick, red skin usually on the shins or tops of the feet.

In a second trailer for the two-part documentary - which has since been removed - Williams opens up about her battle with lymphedema, which has resulted in her having swollen feet.

The star admits, per TooFab: "I can only feel, now, 2%," before breaking down and tears and proclaiming: "There's no cure for this."

Upon seeing the three-minute clip, fans have taken to the comments to express their concern for the star, with many sending prayers to her as she battles her mental and physical illnesses.

"Couldn’t stop crying watching this. Wendy we love you," wrote one user while another added: "Wendy was my go to after a long day of work and needing to unwine and get reality tv scoops or messy Hollywood stories. I remember and still use her popular phrase, 'How you doing?' from way back in her radio show days, me driving to college. Wendy was part of many of our youth years. Please get better Wendy."

A third also stated: "We love you Wendy. It hurts to see her in this state."

It comes as it was revealed that the star was back in a wellness facility at the bottom end of last year.

"Wendy is excited about the road ahead and looking forward to releasing her many projects," the former talk show host's publicist Shawn Zanotti said in a statement to E! News. "She wants to say, 'thank you to my fans for your love, support and many prayers, I am back and better than ever.'"

She is also now allegedly focussing on a podcast project titled The Wendy Experience Podcast, but of course, the star is first and foremost focused on her health issues.

Wendy Williams; two-part documentary is set to debut on Lifetime on February 24 and 25.
