Over the weekend, the Los Angeles Dodgers took part in an exhibition game in South Korea at the Gocheok Sky Dome.

And despite a thrilling game between the Dodgers and the Kiwoom Heroes - which saw Freddie Freeman put in a stellar performance in his team's 14-3 victory - it was another star who made headlines and stole the show.

Prior to the game officially getting underway, players and spectators watched as the traditional ceremonial first pitch was thrown.

Taking to the mound was a 29-year-old actress who made sure all eyes were on her as she threw the ball while wearing an LA Dodgers uniform. Check out the moment below:

Footage from the event hilariously cut back and forth between the actress and the Dodgers dugout - as it appeared that all of the players couldn't help but appreciate the star's technique. In fact, viewers swiftly took to X to share their thoughts on the moment.

"Entire Dodgers dugout was ready to risk it all," tweeted sports X page Barstool Sports.

"Tyler [Glasnow] looks smitten by her," another X user added, with a third writing: "All these guys better be single or they will be when they get home."

But who is the actress who threw the first pitch?

Well, although she may not be particularly well-known to Western audiences, 29-year-old Jeon Jong-seo is a huge star in her native South Korea.

Born in Seoul, Jong-seo attended school in Canada before returning to South Korea to study Film at Sejong University.

Jong-seo first became a household name after starring in the acclaimed 2018 mystery drama Burning - which also starred Beef and Walking Dead star Steven Yeun. Despite being the first movie she had ever auditioned for, she quickly captivated audiences.

Jong-seo has gone on to cement herself as a sought-after star for South Korean Netflix projects - such as the 2023 action thriller movie Ballerina (which boasts an impressive 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes) and the crime drama Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area.

She has also appeared in the films The Call, Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon, and Nothing Serious.

Despite all of these high-profile roles, she is perhaps best known for her role as Na Ah-jeong in the ongoing romantic comedy series Wedding Impossible.

And although Jong-seo has only been acting professionally for around six years, she has already amassed a huge amount of nominations and awards - including winning the prize for Best Actress at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards for her performance in The Call.
