Former X-Factor star Tom Mann has taken to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news that his fiancée, Danielle Hampson, passed away hours before they were due to be married.
Hampson was a PR executive and dancer who worked with groups like Take That and Little Mix. According to Mann, she died on Saturday.
"My darling Dani - my best friend, my everything and more, the love of my life - passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning, 18th June," the grieving star wrote in a lengthy Instagram post.
"What was supposed to be the happiest day of our lives ended in irreversible heartbreak. I feel like I have cried an ocean," he added.
Hampson's cause of death has not yet been released. The mother - who shared young son Bowie with Stereo Kicks singer Mann - was just 34 years old when she passed away.
"We never made it to the [altar]; or got to say our vows, or dance our first dance, but I know you know that you were my entire world and the best thing that has ever happened to me, Danielle. I will wear this ring that I was always supposed to wear as a sign of my unconditional love to you," Mann continued.
The musician - who appeared on the X-Factor in 2014 - went on to say that he is "completely broken", but that he will "use any strength I can muster for our little boy."
"I promise I will do my everything to raise Bowie just the way we always wanted. I promise you he will know how amazing his mummy was. I promise to make you so so proud," he wrote.
Mann ended by paying tribute to his wife: "My darling Dani, the brightest light in any room, my world is nothing but darkness without you. I will miss you forever."
X-Factor's Simon Cowell has since paid tribute to Hampson, telling TMZ: "As a father myself, I simply cannot imagine the heartbreak Tom and his family are going through and will be personally reaching out to him.
"From my family to his, we extend our deepest condolences and all of our love during this tragic time."
Hampson was known for dancing on the BBC show Strictly Come Dancing, the Spice World 2019 tour, and Harry Styles' 2021 music video for the song 'Treat People With Kindness'.

Tributes and condolences have poured in from big names in the music industry. Lewis Capaldi commented on his post "Love you brother", and Ellie Goulding wrote: "I’m thinking of you non stop… You are so strong. Here for you always. Love you xxxx"
