YouTuber MrBeast has spoken up about how draining the world of content creation can get.
The most-followed YouTuber in the world with 179 million subscribers - whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson - has become one of the leading creators in digital entertainment.
The 25-year-old became well-known for his elaborate videos where he shares acts of kindness such as donating millions in challenge prizes, tipping a waitress an extravagant gift like a car, or helping '1,000 deaf people hear for the first time'.
However, despite all the success he has garnered from his grand stunts and philanthropic initiatives, the social media star took to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Saturday (August 26) to open up about how creating content has taken a toll on his mental health.
Check out his tweet below:Referring to his jam-packed schedule and resulting exhaustion, the streamer posted: "In order to upload weekly videos later this year I’ve been filming every single day (and only have a couple days off filming between now and end of year) and I’m dying mentally.
"I hope you guys love these videos when they go up, I’m pushing myself to the max to get them done," he added.
Upon seeing his post, a multitude of users on X shared their concerns regarding the YouTuber's mental well-being. One person wrote: "Hang in there! I can only imagine how exhausting it must be to film every single day. Your dedication to providing us with weekly videos is truly admirable.
"I'm sure all your hard work will pay off, and we will definitely appreciate and love these videos when they are uploaded. Take care of yourself and remember to prioritize your mental well-being too!" they added.
Another said: "This man needs a break. Otherwise he won't be in tip-top shape for his future videos and more importantly, for his physical and mental health. Take a break Jimmy, we will be fine if need be."
A third commented: "Do you man, but take could breaks so you don’t get burnt out! We love you man, don’t leave us cause of doing so much all the sudden. You’ve got time buddy."
Outside of his videos, Donaldson is also known for his business ventures. He has a licensed charity which is a food bank set up to feed communities across the US, and has also helped millions of dollars to help the environment. Additionally, he has also launched a range of snacks called Feastables.
YouTuber Steven Bridges told the BBC that Donaldson's success is due to his creativity, stating: "I think the interesting thing about MrBeast is his absolute dedication to making what he considers the best video possible.
"When he uploads, people click. They know that when they click on a MrBeast video, there's going to be a heck of a lot of effort gone into making it really entertaining," Bridges added.
That is correct as earlier this month, the popular internet star took to X to announce that his video titled "7 Days Stranded At Sea" received the highest number of views in 24 hours for a non-music video. The footage featured Donaldson and his four friends surviving on a raft for a week.
"New video broke the world record for most views in 24 hours on a non music video!" Donaldson penned. "I’m living the life I would dream of every night when I was 13.. I love all of you and thank you so much for watching our videos!!! I’ll never take you all for granted."
However, due to his latest post, fans are hoping MrBeast might slow down a bit soon, to give himself a well-earned break.
