While there aren't many who could have predicted this ten years ago, the Kardashian family have somehow become some of the most profitable and well-known celebrities in the world. While she is still undoubtedly the leader of the pack, the brand has expanded far beyond Kim Kardashian, with her siblings, and the extension of the Jenner family, each finding success in their respective fields.
While they are profitable in a wide range of enterprises, they still all come together for the hit reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which recently hit its tenth anniversary. It debuted all the way back in October 2007 (has it really been that long?) and in the years since it has become one of the longest-running reality television series in the country.
The show, whose 14th season premiered on October 1 this year, mainly focuses on sisters
Kourtney, Khloe and Kim, as well as their half-sisters Kendall and
. The show has also featured their parents Kris and Caitlyn Jenner and their brother Rob Kardashian, as well as the significant others of the cast, including Kourtney's boyfriend
and Khloe's ex-husband Lamar Odom.
While it has never exactly been well-received critically, it has attracted high viewership ratings since its premiere, perhaps known for as a "guilty pleasure" among many. Its success has led to a stunning 200 episodes, as well as the creation of several spin-off series. So it comes as little surprise that they make a lot of money from the show. But how much exactly do they make?
Recently, Buzzfeed reported that the latest deal saw the group amass the huge sum of $150 million for the next five years. The Kardashian-Jenner family get paid in one lump sum, and it's up to them to split it up evenly.
, who also the show's executive producer, has revealed exactly how it all gets shared out.
Appearing on a recent episode of the
Show, she was asked if she makes the final decision, to which she replied
"Well, not exactly, no. It's kind of a group decision," joking that
"I'm lucky if I get paid by the time the girls get finished with me". She continued:
"Everybody gets paid pretty much equally, 'cause we all film a lot and we all work hard, and we've created this show and this brand for the last decade.... Everybody's happy"

In the interview she artfully dodged several questions about her daughters' rumoured pregnancies, which might be why she was happier to talk about money, hoping to distract from the recent stories that both
and
are secretly pregnant.
There are a lot of divisive opinions out there about the show, so it's worth checking out this list of
