We've all gotten drunk and done something stupid, like send a cringeworthy text to your ex, get kicked out of a bar for trying to pee in the sink, or pass out in your seat on the train home, and when you wake up you you're way past your stop, and you notice somebody sliced open your jeans with a scissors and stole your wallet. (For me, this is all just a regular Saturday night.)

However, Texas Tech undergrad Annie Swartz may have engaged in the funniest drunken antics. Like most college students, she likes to go to parties. And like most people that aren't jerks, she loves animals. In fact, she and her friends say, "We'll always find the animals at parties." And by 'animals' they don't mean stupid frat guys. On social media, they post pictures of themselves at various soirees holding adorable creatures like puppies and roosters. Maybe it's because they live in Texas? You don't many roosters at parties in Los Angeles. (Although you may meet a man named "Rooster" who tries to sell you cocaine.)

It seems like an innocent combination - getting wasted and finding cute animals. However, one night, things got weird.

After a night of epic partying, Annie woke up the next day and got a bizarre text message. It came from a man saved in her contacts as "jack farm guy bashs" (which is a pretty funny handle). He wrote, "This is Jack, when would you like to stop by?" Confused, Annie replied, "wait for what." He replied, "The goat." She replied, "The....what?" "You bought one of my dad's goats," Jack explained. "When would you like to come by?" We've all gotten drunk and made impulse purchases, but how many of you have ever bought a goat? They really know how to party in Texas.

Annie shared a screenshot of the hilarious interaction on Twitter, writing "what did I DO last night." The photo went viral, getting over 25,00 retweets and over 160,000 likes. Then she posted an update, as their conversation continued. "how much did i pay you what," Annie asked the 'farm guy,' bewildered. "You only payed for one goat ma'am," replied Jack, who is clearly a very direct man. "Do you want him or not?" "can i have my money back i don't want the goat," Annie replied. (Oh, come on, Annie! I thought you loved animals!)

That's the end of the interaction, so we don't know how much money Annie drunken forked over for this goat. Although this is a pretty absurd situation, many people said they could relate to it, and it sounds exactly like something they would do. The replies are very pro-goat: One guy posted a photo of a baby goat on his car seat, writing "Definitely been there before." One girl offered, "I'll take the goat." And another user told Annie, "This is the opposite of the problem."
We agree - get the goat, Annie! We all do stupid things when we're drunk, but buying a goat is brilliant.
