While
Kim Kardashian undoubtedly loves the limelight, that is how she has made her fortune at the end of the day, it seems like the press is finally beginning to grate on the Keeping Up With The Kardashian's star. The last few weeks have seen Kim react with fire and fury to stories regarding both her and her family, as she begins to show signs that she is finally cracking under all of the attention.
The most recent example of Kim's scorn comes as a result of a story ran by a newspaper regarding the weight of her mother, Kris Jenner. In the story, Jenner was described as 'chubby-faced,' something which the reality star took exception to. Responding to the article, Kim suggested a few different adjectives that could've been used to describe her mom's appearance.

"Chubby really? That’s the headline?" Kim tweeted. "How about beautiful, youthful, stunning?!?"
The article centres on a youthful Kris Jenner, with their being never-before-seen images of the business mogul in her 20's. The images within the article were short by Jenner's former boyfriend, Alfred Garcia. Although Kim mainly focused on the problematic description of her appearances, others pointed out that some of the wording in the article was less than complimentary as well, with the full headline saying that the pictures were taken "a year before the flight attendant [Jenner] convinced wealthy lawyer Robert Kardashian to marry her."

As mentioned previously, this isn't the first time that Kim has felt compelled to speak out on the internet in order to defend members of her family. Just last week, the 37-year-old decided to shut down reports that had claimed she and Kanye had decided to go out and party while her son, Saint West, was being treated in hospital for pneumonia.
Taking to her Twitter account, the mother of two who is also expecting a baby via a surrogate, said:

I haven't heard this BUT lets get this straight. I did not leave my son for one minute during his hospital stay. We were there Wednesday night to Saturday. NYE WAS SUNDAY NIGHT. People came over when he was already asleep for the night! Don't even try me when it comes to my kids.
Saint was rushed to hospital over the festive period and inside sources told TMZ that both Kim and Kanye took it in turns to stay with the youngster while he remained in hospital over the holiday season. He was permitted to return home on Saturday, but remained under the care of doctors for several days.

Despite the health scare and the stress of their own baby arriving in 2018 via a surrogate, Kim and Kanye saw in 2018 in style, surrounded by friends and family, including the pop singer Jenifer Lopez.
Fair play to Kim Kardashian for not only sticking up for her mother, but also sticking up for herself the other day. While she is often regarded as a bit of a ditz and a bit dim,
there's more to the reality star than meets the eye.
