A 17-year-old Texan teenager has just made her way into the record books because of her remarkably long legs, which have repeatedly gone viral on TikTok.

And now, Maci Currin has broken the Guinness World Record for the longest female legs.

Watch Maci showing off her record-breaking long legs:

So, how long exactly are Maci's legs? Well, the pins that have also earned her 1.6 million followers on TikTok measure 135.267cm (53.255 inches) for her left leg and 134.3cm (52.874 inches) for her right leg.

Maci announced that she'd won the award on Twitter by sharing a picture of herself leaning against a banister while wearing an outfit that shows off her remarkably long legs in all their glory.

She captioned the snap: "Best of the best. Guinness world records title-holder female with the longest legs #OfficiallyAmazing."

Needless to say, with such long legs, Maci towers over most people at six feet 10 inches tall.

Maci's parents are both relatively tall: her mom Trish stands at five feet seven inches, and her dad is six foot five.

However, while Maci's legs might have got her into the record books, day-to-day activities can be difficult for her, and she has to get her pants as trousers custom made.

Then there's the problem of doors and cars, which Maci has to be careful entering for obvious reasons.

Thankfully, she sees the funny side of her long legs, and on TikTok, she frequently shares videos of herself poking fun at the trouble they cause her.

This is how tricky it is for Maci to sit down in a chair:

But while having the world's longest female legs comes with its own set of challenges, it's clear from Maci's social media accounts that she's learned to embrace them.

However, the 17-year-old hasn't always been so proud of her long legs and reveals that she was bullied for them.

That all changed around her Sophomore year when she decided to stop caring about what other people thought of her remarkably long legs.

Maci's legs account for 60% of her total height and she entered the record books because she wanted to inspire other tall women to love their bodies just the way they are.

You keep doing you, Maci!
