The innovative ability of brands to conjure up themed versions of practically any product, to suit any holiday, is frankly remarkable.

In recent years, themed products for Halloween and Christmas have become thoroughly de rigueur, with big brand names like Aldi, Walmart and Target creating alchemy with more and more seemingly disparate elements to bring us such big hits as wine advent calendars, The Nightmare Before Christmas inflatables and half a Christmas tree.

Let's face it, the remaining holidays this year are likely to feel somewhat different to traditions of years past due to social distancing measures put in place to slow the spread of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

We've been spending much more time than usual in our own homes this year, with many countries urging people to work from home and minimize social contact.

As such, large Halloween and Christmas parties are not a practical reality this year. But that doesn't mean that we should sink beneath our despair and give up on the whole thing.

To cheer yourself up, you could buy the new Elf-themed version of Monopoly, quaff some Hocus Pocus wine, and even pick up some of this shimmery orange glitter syrup for the sparkly Halloween pancakes of your dreams, from Walmart.

And if all that isn't enough to sate your appetite for novelty holiday-themed products then fear not, because we've got news of yet another one for you.

Yes, Aldi, budget supermarket chain of all our dreams, has entered the fray with their very own Halloween-shaped pasta, perfect for spooky season man 'n' cheese.

Spotted by Instagram page aldiforpresident, the pasta is a macaroni product of 17 ounces that looks to retail for just $1.99.

"Reggano Halloween Pasta for $1.99???This pasta is the absolute perfect addition to Halloween this year! The second picture is in my house because I noticed once I got home and looked at the ingredients how few there actually were..Very cool!" The post is captioned.

You'll most likely find the Halloween pasta shapes in the dry goods section of Aldi, or near other holiday/festive-themed products the retailer is offering. The pasta itself features black and orange colors, along with the traditional pasta color, and the shapes featured are spiders and pumpkins.

The label states that each half cup of the pasta contains 210 calories.

Aldi fans were excited by the news, and many took to the comments section to express their delight.
