One thing's for sure; we're not going to be short of festive-themed snacks, drinks and sweet treats to enjoy this year.
Just yesterday, we reported that Nestlé Toll House is releasing its very own Grinch-inspired sugar cookie, which is a bright vivid green and comes flecked with red candy hearts. The perfect snack to settle in with to watch How The Grinch Stole Christmas for the 4,675th time.[[imagecaption|| Credit: Nestlé]]
Next, we turn our attention to Aldi, AKA the King of the Specialbuy.
I love Aldi. God bless its kind-to-a-budget groceries and its array of weird and wonderful novelty products that I end up spending more on than my weekly food shop.Watch this classic scene from Elf to get you in the festive spirit:
Aldi has announced two festive themed products that are sure to whet your whistle for the most wonderful time of the year: a candy cane gin liqueur and a colossal two-metre long pig in blanket. You could enjoy the gin liqueur after you've finally finished wrapping all of the hundreds of presents you're doubtless giving out to friends and family this year.
But what if, after all those delicious sounding snacks, you need something a little more refreshing?
Well don't worry, because I might just have the perfect cooling beverage for you to wash it all down with.
The Coca Cola Company has devised a delicious sounding way for two of its brands to join in with all the fun this Christmas, after it announced that soda fans will soon be able to enjoy Coca-Cola Cinnamon and Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry.[[imagecaption|| Credit: Coca Cola Company]]
Coca Cola Cinnamon has previously been an offered flavour in the United Kingdom, but will be making its way to the US for the first time this fall, while the Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry is an entirely new limited edition offering. Food and Wine confirms that the Sprite drink will land on September 30 and remain available for purchase until the end of the year, or while stocks last.
With all these delicious sounding drinks and snacks to enjoy this festive season, is there going to be any time to actually unwrap any presents!?
