While coffee snobs will argue that adding anything other than water to coffee beans is tantamount to heresy, everyone else knows that extra flavours are awesome. Starbucks didn’t get to where they are today by refusing to serve anything other than bitter black shots - they’re a big deal because they’re prepared to add marshmallows, milk cookies and all manner of yummy things to their creations. No amount of harumphing from unhappy baristas is going to change that.
In this spirit, two new releases from Nestle subsidiary Coffee Mate are about to make breakfast even more exciting, with the news that customers can soon flavour their morning brew with Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Funfetti. The creamers, which will be hitting shelves in January 2020, prove that sometimes more is more.

As the name suggests, the Cinnamon Toast Crunch variety has been designed to taste like the iconic breakfast cereal of the same name. As Coffee Mate has stated in a recent press release, the end result “tastes like the best of the 'cinnamilk' left in your bowl.” If that doesn’t persuade you to stock up, nothing will.

Coffee Mate’s Funfetti flavour combines “vanilla, cake batter, and sweet frosting-like notes,” according to a report in Bustle, and only requires “birthday candles and sprinkles,” as per the press release.

The new flavours will allegedly be available in stores across the United States. Both will also be sold in 32 oz. bottles for just $3.99 each, so spicing up your mornings will be incredibly affordable. They may not be traditional, but they’ll definitely be delicious.
