A woman who makes $10,000 a month posting pictures of her armpit hair has now opened up about how she has PTSD from the abuse she receives.

Fenella Fox, a 30-year-old resident of Worcester, UK, has confessed to encountering severe harassment, including stalking and abusive messages, despite the financial success her unconventional career affords her, per the Daily Mail.

With a monthly income averaging $10,000, her popularity has surged on social media platforms, where she caters to an audience exceeding a million followers.

Fox is renowned for her body-positive content, featuring photos and videos proudly displaying her unshaven armpits, along with lifestyle vlogs that resonate with her dedicated fan base.

Additionally, she shares more provocative images on Instagram and operates an OnlyFans account.

The catalyst for her journey into this unique career path was her discontent with conventional beauty standards for women. As she pushed back against societal norms, she has faced an onslaught of vitriol, and, shockingly, has even found herself physically threatened. Two men, she alleges, cornered her, believing they were entitled to a threesome because of her profession.

Speaking of the challenges she's faced, Fenella revealed that some reactions to her work have been shockingly extreme, recounting: "I travel a lot, and one of the worst reactions to my job was someone telling me I would be hanged in their country."

Fenella has been subjected to stalking on two separate occasions. The first incident occurred in 2018 when she claimed that her life was forever altered.

She disclosed: "A man became obsessed with the idea of raping, torturing, and murdering me." A more recent incident involved being stalked in person by another man earlier this year, in addition to receiving frequent lengthy and intimidating email essays.

The toll of her unconventional career extends beyond her digital life, as she finds it challenging to connect with individuals outside her industry.

This isolation often leads to the need to lie about her occupation. "I've been in the adult industry since I turned 18 (I'm now 30) and I've spent a lot of that time in my bedroom stripping for men," she shared. "It would be silly to claim that it didn't do some damage."

Fenella disclosed the difficulties she faces in her personal life, stating: "I entertain men online for a living but I get anxious around them in person. I'll be brave and get a kiss maybe twice a year - my lack of sex life often comes as a shock to many of my fans."

At the onset of her journey, Fenella faced a predominantly negative response. She elaborated: "As mentioned before, there weren't many women online showing their natural pit hair, so it shocked and angered people."

Over time, the landscape has evolved, with thousands of women now sharing content similar to hers. Although the hatred still persists, the negativity has considerably dwindled, and her comment sections are now primarily filled with positivity.

Despite the adversities and discomfort associated with her line of work, Fenella acknowledges the significant advantages. Her family, she admitted, may wish for success in a different industry, but they're content with her accomplishments.

Fenella has earned over $500,000 from her work.
