Check out the video below:The TikToker, who shared with her followers that she had only just learned what an AirTag is, decided to enlighten her followers too, explaining: "An AirTag is an apple device that tracks you via Bluetooth. Similar to Find My iPhone."
She went on to say: "I found a tracking device behind the license plate of my brother’s car that I’ve been driving. While as a Gemini I feel flattered, as a citizen, I feel concerned … we called local law enforcement …. and police took the serial number, so we’ll see what happens."
She then joked: "And lastly, I'll just say to my stalker: You could have just asked me to dinner. Probably would have said yes!"
In a follow-up TikTok video, @murasakisweetpotatoes explained in further detail: "I got a notification from the Find My iPhone app. The AirTag is an Apple device on the iPhone and it's one of Apple's safety features. Basically, if an iPhone detects an AirTag following it, you'll get a notification."
A number of people have since responded to the disturbing story, with one cynical user commenting: "You'll never find your stalker. The police will do nothing. Stay safe!"

A number of users felt it was more likely that the stalker had been trying to follow @murasakisweetpotatoes' brother - it was his car, after all:
