A 93-year-old grandma and her grandson, 27, have become social media sensations after they filmed a video together.

Ross Smith and Grandma Smith became as thick as thieves when Ross filmed Grandma blocking a basketball shot on Instagram - a video that went viral. After this, the pair united to create more hilarious videos, and, of course, dress up in a variety of outfits.

Now, the pair regularly dress up as popular culture icons to celebrate all major holidays including Christmas and Thanksgiving. Some of the Hollywood movies they've cosplayed include Marvel's Avengers, Gladiator, and animated favorites like Up, and Toy Story.

In an interview with the Metro, Ross said: "We have been making videos and pictures for seven years now."

"All of this started when I came home for Easter one year and my grandma made a viral basketball video. Now we are best friends, we hang out almost everyday and travel the whole world together! We have been there for each other through all the good times and hard times."

"Some of the costumes take a long time," Ross added. "Like this Halloween, we had a costume that took probably 75-100 different parts and cost anywhere from $1,500-$2,000 just to create."

"Some outfits for pics and vids are free and just come from our amazing fans."

Ross says: "I don't think the other family members are jealous, I think they are just happy for us and the amazing journeys we have had. We even take some of them with us when we can."

And on that note, here is a collection of some of the pair's greatest outfits:

Needless to say, the pair have a lot of fans, and on Instagram alone have a following of 2.7 million. You keep doing you, Ross and Grandma Smith.
