When it comes to online dating profiles, you want to look your very best.
You want to look attractive, but not to the point where you look self-obsessed. You want to look sociable, but not to the point where your date is concerned about competing with your friends. And you want to showcase your personal interests, without looking like a total dork.
And one guy who thought he had Tinder down to a tee is comedian Carter Hambley.
You see, in an effort to showcase his good looks, love of Star Wars, fun personality, and photoshop skills, he uploaded a picture of himself pretending to hang out with everybody's favorite child, Baby Yoda.

However, after matching with a potential love interest, things quickly went downhill when he was accused of catfishing her.
For those unaware, catfishing is when somebody intentionally attempts to deceive another person on a social networking service by pretending to be somebody that they're not.

Taking to Twitter, Carter shared screenshots revealing that he had matched with a person who was interested in his "Baby Yoda doll".
The person asks Hambley: "Where did you get that Baby Yoda doll?" To which Carter replies: "Haha it's just photoshopped!"
But seemingly confused by Carter's incredible editing skills, the unidentified person replied: "No not the photo. I mean the Yoda doll."
Carter then responds with an attempt to move the conversation along, writing: "Yeah it's not a doll, unfortunately! Anyways! What kind of movies do you like? Besides Star Wars, presumably."
And then it all goes downhill from there.

"So you just... put a fake image on your profile?" the person responded, adding: "That's literally the definition of catfishing. You're a liar and a sneak and I'm reporting you. Not letting you fool anyone else with your little tricks."
And just in case you thought that was just a bit of flirtatious banter, Carter then shared a screenshot revealing that he had indeed been banned by Tinder on the grounds that he had violated their terms of service.

The comedian later shared the exchange to Twitter, where he accompanied the screenshots with the caption: "god i hate this app". We feel you, bud.
As of this writing, his post has been retweeted over 143,000 times and liked by more than 1 million users.
Carter, I think you're better off, mate. You don't want to date somebody who can't tell a clearly photoshopped picture of you hanging out with Baby Yoda.
