A husband managed to use his home's intercom system to warn his sleeping wife of an approaching wildfire.
Aaron Hulse learned of the April 16 fire which was rapidly approaching his home in Oregon from a neighbor, and he knew that he had to act fast in order to save wife Sarah's life.
The fire itself began near Aaron's home in Oregon City, and it tore through the nearby two acres of forest.
The shocking incident was captured on film, and it begins by showing the couple's empty living room and Aaron's voice screaming through the intercom.
'"Sarah! Get out of the house!" he shouts. "Sarah. Wake up!"
Watch the shocking footage below:He continues to shout for his wife to wake up and get out of the house as the flames approach.
About halfway through the footage, Sarah wakes up and appears. Clearly confused, she asks what's going on, and Aaron tells her that there's a fire coming up the hillside.
"Oh my God! There's a huge fire outside my house!" she shouts when she realizes what's going on.
A firetruck can later be seen in footage taken outside of the property attempting to extinguish the blaze.
Despite Aaron's voice sounding so loud in the footage, you would be mistaken for thinking he was outside the property when, in reality, he was racing home from eight miles away in his truck.
Reacting to the footage, one YouTube viewer wrote: "I pray she and the animals are safe."

A second added: "He saved her life."

However, this is not the first time tech has recently provided people with an unlikely, invaluable connection.
Last year, the children of a deployed US major recently discovered that they could send messages to their dad with their doorbell camera.
Per a blog post on Ring.com, Major DeCrans, a twenty-plus year veteran of the army, had been stationed in Kuwait for 10 months when his children made the discovery.
Check out some of the kids' heartwarming messages below:The children used the doorbell to keep their dad up-to-date with all of the important goings-on in their lives, such as when his son Zerick learned to ride a bike without training wheels.
His wife Cierra said that while he had initially bought the device to keep an eye on their home while he was away, but it ended up giving him a priceless connection to his children.
