A 23-year-old influencer who hails from the United Kingdom has slammed Instagram after her swimsuit photo was banned by the photo-sharing app for contravening their community guidelines.
Honey Ross, the daughter of television presenter Jonathan Ross and a body positivity activist, according to news.com.au, revealed that an image of her swimming in a pool that was taken from behind her had been removed from Instagram.
In the message notifying Ross of the image's removal, Instagram said it does not allow "nudity and sexual activity”, “graphic violence” and “hate speech, harassment and bullying”, though her post did not appear to directly contravene any of these.
“Why don’t you just say you hate fat bodies?” The 23-year-old wrote over a screenshot of the notice from Instagram.

Per news.com.au, the banned picture was taken last year, and showed Ross going for a swim in a blue and white bikini.
Earlier this week, Honey Ross opened up about her struggles with her body image when she was younger. She said of her parents' response to her struggles:
“They saw me, a teenage girl coming home saying, ‘I hate my body’.
“They tried to give me solutions to a problem I brought to them, which was to lose weight.
“They presented me with diets and diets, as we know, don’t work and are absolutely toxic.
“My advice to parents is keep that as far away from your children as possible, if you want them to have a good relationship with food and their bodies growing up do not shame them.”
Ross previously told UK chat show Loose Women that Instagram was a place that she could express herself.
“From a young age, I felt I didn’t have any control over my image,” she revealed.
“I felt I didn’t have a place to carve out my own identity. I found Instagram and I was like, I can express myself and show people who I really am. It was a way for me to figure myself out better.”
