A man has gone viral for his response to a transphobic question about his girlfriend.

Jade Mcfarlane and her boyfriend, known only as Tyler, are in a happy, committed relationship and regularly appear together on her TikTok channel.

However, Tyler was recently asked by a social media troll if he was aware that his girlfriend is trans (which is obviously is).

The comment was then swiftly followed by a rude comment to Jade, telling her that Tyler would leave her if he knew the truth.

Watch his heartwarming reply below:

Clapping back at the troll in the best way possible, the couple decided to address the comment in one of their TikTok videos, which has since received over six million views and counting.

As Tyler rests his head on her chest, Jade asks him if he is aware that she's a trans woman.

"Do you know that I'm trans?" she says.

Tyler immediately responds: "Yeah, I know that you're a perfect, beautiful woman, and you always have been."

As if that wasn't already adorable enough, Tyler went on to explain why trans women are just as valid as cisgender women.

"First off, I want to say trans women are real women," Tyler said. "They're completely valid in their femininity.

"And the fact that people think that just because someone's trans and I found out – or anyone found out that their significant other is trans – that [this] would take away or diminish the love they have for them, [it's] completely disgusting to me."

He then shared his thoughts on people who use the internet as a platform to tear other people down.

"Just because you're unhappy in life doesn't mean we need to be, too," he said.

Needless to say, the couple was flooded with support in the comments section of the video, with many praising Tyler for his mature and informative response to the troll.

One TikTok user wrote: "His heart is so pure. He said it so perfectly, and people need to take notes on what true love looks like."

Hopefully, Tyler's heartwarming response helps to educate people about transgender individuals and their partners.

According to data collected from The Human Rights Campaign, more than 200 transgender and gender-nonconforming people have lost their lives in the US since 2016.
