The generosity of strangers is a truly wonderful thing.
One individual who hails from Grand Prairie is being held up as a brilliant example of this kindness after they purchased an entire truck of flowers and asked for it to be parked outside a nursing home so seniors could make their own bouquets.
According to a Facebook post from Gypsybloomsflowertruck, a gentleman approached the flower truck with the idea last weekend, and together they made the thoughtful surprise a reality.
The post reads:
"Isn’t this one of the sweetest things you’ve ever seen?!? ? ?? My heart is so full from being a part of this amazing experience this afternoon❤️.... So last weekend I had a gentleman come to my truck with a very thoughtful idea?He wanted to purchase an entire truck full of flowers and asked if I could park at a Senior Citizens complex so they could come and pick flowers to build their own bouquet for their room. Amazing right?!? Rene Blais from RB Oilfield Hauling Inc, you brought so much JOY and HAPPINESS ?✨to these seniors today, we are all so very grateful for your generosity ❤️"
And the post quickly went viral on Facebook, where it has so far garnered more than 2k likes and 2k shares since it was posted yesterday.
"Amazing people walk this earth! it totally made my moms day, she was just telling me all about the truck, she had one just like it when she was a couple years younger. Oh and she loved the flowers," one Facebook commenter wrote.

Another commenter added, "What an amazing thing he has done. I love Grande Prairie business owners. Always willing to give! Thank you sir for your generosity."

"This warms my heart and renews my faith in humanity. Some people will never understand just what a gracious gesture like this means to older folks ❤ thank you for this selfless act." A third Facebook user added.
