A man with the record for the most square tattoos on his body has revealed that he was left sneezing black ink after getting his nose tatted.
Matt Gone holds a Guinness World Record for an impressive 848 black squares tattooed on his body, which was confirmed and counted by two doctors.
The American said the tattooing process was not an easy one, sharing that he was sneezing black ink after getting his nose and toes painted.
Speaking in a video for GWR's YouTube channel, he said: "The most painful spot on the body to get tattooed? The nose. That is the most painful, even the baby toes, the nail beds hurt a lot. I sneezed up black ink for about 20 minutes after that and it was the most painful thing I’d ever been through."
Watch his Guinness World Records video below:Gone got his first tattoo in 1985 and explained that he was only 14 when he used a needle and got some ink on himself. Since then, he has had an astonishing amount of ink all over his body, including the tongue and eyeballs.
He said he got a tattoo of the inside of his eyelids, noting that it made him just the sixth person in the world to get their eyeballs inked.
Gone initially wanted the colors blue and green but instead chose a shade of magenta and gold. He said that tattooing his eyelids was "very painful, even with anesthetic," adding, "people generally only tattoo up to the eyelash line".

While he joked about how there isn’t a big enough sequence of squares to play chess on, he also disclosed that his tattoos serve a more significant purpose than simply helping to create a unique look.
"I like the symmetry of the chequers that hide and camouflage the asymmetry of my body," he said, before explaining how he had tried to conceal some of his birth deformities with his ink.
"I have a total of 14 different rare birth defects that they’ve discovered, they are still discovering more. The tattoos make me enjoy my body," he continued.
Gone said that the tattoos allow him to "enjoy living in my body" despite the birth defect in his throat such as having a "child-size" airway.

The tattooed man also explained how he got his tongue tattooed, saying it was "hypodermic injections" adding that he "modernized" the technique for tongue tattooing back in 2010.
Gone noted his tongue is "more tattooed than any other person in history" and that the tattoo goes all the way down to the base of his throat.
However, he advised fellow tattoo fanatics that they should not get their tongue inked, saying: "Do not do this at home, there is no professional that can do this."
You heard the man, don't get a tattoo on your tongue!
