A man with Down's syndrome saved up for an entire year in order to buy his own custom suit - and he looks absolutely dashing in it!
Jon, who works part-time at Krogers, wanted desperately to buy a nice suit that would fit his 48" tall frame and 42" chest. And he wanted his dream suit made by Richards Bespoke, a custom men's clothing store in Nashville, TN.
In fact, it was in this very store that his own father was fitted for a suit a while back. So, the young man couldn't wait to look dashing in his very own custom-made suit.
And his wish was Richards Bespoke's demand. Jon's suit couldn't have looked any better than it did - and he loved it.
Following the fitting, Richards Bespoke shared pictures of Jon in his brand new suit and shared his story on their Facebook page.
"Meet Jon. Jon works part-time at Kroger and it’s been his dream to purchase a custom suit from us ever since his father was fitted for one a few years ago. Being 48" tall and having a 42" chest, there is literally no where [sic] he can buy a suit that remotely fits," the caption reads.
It continues: "Jon has been saving up for the past year so he could finally wear something he’s comfortable in. Last week, Jon came in to pick up his suit and his reaction was one I’ll never forget. This is why I do what I do."
As of this writing, the post has garnered over 3,600 likes and nearly 500 comments.
Needless to say, people couldn't contain their excitement at the sight of the handsome young man in his striking blue suit.
One person shared: "This made me cry! What an instant boost to any man's confidence to have a custom-fitted suit, but for Jon, who is absolutely beautiful and perfect, this has made him feel like ‘The Man’ and it’s AWESOME."
