Men on the internet are just now discovering a trait that they believe all males have in common - a freckle in exactly the same place.

We've all heard that despite our many physical differences, human beings are 99.9% identical in their genetic makeup. We share an array of traits such as hands, feet, and the ability to walk upright. But it appears we may have some more subtle things in common.

In fact, one TikToker is claiming that all men have a freckle on a similar place on their arm.

Check out the video here:

Taking to the platform, a man with the handle @dylanbaseball07 tells his followers: "Alright I may have found something that proves that the government makes humans. Alright, every boy duet this and see if you have that freckle right there on your arm."

He adds with his own freckle on full display: "I guarantee you do. That freckle right there. Duet this."

Since its upload, some male TikTok users have been chiming in to respond - and it appears it is indeed a shared trait amongst some men

According to one TikTok user: "God made us with something that we all have."

Other TikTok users said that they actually had the freckle on their right arm, whereas the men featured in the video had one on their left arm:

However, there were many men who didn't have a freckle on either arm.

Plus, it was pointed out by a number of TikTok users that the trait seems to be shared mostly amongst white men rather than being one that is common amongst men in general.

And then there were the ladies in the comments who shared that they had the supposedly masculine trait.

The trend comes nearly two years after a female Twitter user by the name of Aaryn Whitley shared a post on Twitter, asking: "Ladies... you got a freckle on the middle of your wrist, or is this a myth?"

In the post, Aaryn included photos of four different women's wrists, all with a freckle in pretty much the same place. Before long, women all over started sharing their own freckled wrists.

Again, it's probably best to take it with a pinch of salt - some women have the freckle, many don't.
