A mom-of-five has spoken out about her initial shock and awe after realizing she had accidentally named all five of her children after slang terms for drugs.
Mom Jazz, from Sydney in Australia, shared her humorous story with parenting site Kidspot following a conversation she had with a family friend.
While heavily pregnant with her fourth child, Jazz and her then-husband revealed to their friend that they were planning on naming their next child Oscar. However, after revealing the happy news to their friend, burst into fits of laughter.
Initially confused at what was so funny, their friend then called their unborn baby "an ounce" - resulting in the penny dropping for the couple.

Yes, despite being a very respectable name, "Oscar" is also a slang term for an "ounce bag of marijuana".
It was also at this moment that their friend pointed out that the names of her other three sons also followed this trend. "Charlie" was a term used for cocaine, "Harry" was heroin, and "Max" is used to refer to a drink laced with GHB and amphetamines.
"I was half mortified and half hysterically laughing, hoping no one would ever pick up on it," Jazz told Kidspot - adding that this was also purely a coincidence and not intentional.
However, despite any initial embarrassment, Jazz now finds the whole situation rather funny. "Over time I realized how hilarious it was and we’d point it out to people, who laughed just as hard with us about it," she said.
And, 10 years later, Jazz accidentally did it again with her fifth child.

Naming her fifth child Billy Jo, she was later informed that "Billy" is a slang term for bong.
Despite the connotation, the doting mom said she absolutely "loves" her children's names, and can't imagine her five children being named anything else. Jazz thinks the lesson here is to always find the humor in life - and we couldn't agree more!
