It's no secret that sometimes your underwear can go walkabout.
This is especially the case if you've got a lot of it and/or if you live in a home with pets or children who might be inclined to wreak havoc on your washing basket.
And on the subject of kids and underwear, a mom was recently left mortified after her daughter accidentally went to school with her thong stuck to her shoe.
Gracie Noe discovered the embarrassing fate of her thong when she went to pick up her daughter from her Catholic school and the six-year-old began to relay her day.
Noe went on to film what happened next and posted the hilarious clip on Instagram with the caption: "In case you needed to know how my life was going... my daughter had my THONG stuck on her shoes Velcro as she strolled into Catholic school yesterday. Luckily they were clean."
"I walked to class and then I saw a teacher and she said, 'There's something on your shoe, honey," the 6-year-old recalled in the video which focuses entirely on her mom's face.
The little girl then looked down to discover that there definitely was something on her shoe: her mom's thong.
But if that wasn't already embarrassing enough, what happened next is arguably worse.
"And then I stomped all the way to the principal and I said, 'This is my mom's underwear, our house is messy,'" Noe's daughter relayed.
When she got to the principal's office, she was told to put the thong in her pocket, and the little girl did as she was told.
However, if you thought that this six-year-old was done embarrassing her mom, you're wrong.
"And I got to class," she continued, "and I said, 'This was on my shoe this morning.' And I showed it, the underwear, and then she said to put it in my backpack."
Needless to say, social media users were tickled pink by the incident.
One wrote: "This had me crying laughing! So glad you caught this on camera."
Alongside laughing emojis, a second added: "As a teacher.... this is amazing."
A third wrote: "I genuinely needed a hard laugh, thank you for your embarrassment and suffering, it is appreciated."
And on that note, we'd also like to thank Noe for brightening up our day during a pandemic.
