A mom has shared a set of side-by-side photographs showing the unbelievable size difference of her bump with her son compared to her triplets.
Lindsay Murphy, 31, shared a number of pictures of her baby bump when she was pregnant with her first child, a son, and decided to do the same thing again to show how much considerably larger she was with her triplets.
The photographs which were both taken at 31 weeks gestation were captioned on Instagram: "Made it to 33 weeks! Bump is just a little bigger this time round compared to the same time pregnant with Alfie. roll on Tuesday so I can meet these little ladies [sic]"
Four days after posting the unbelievable size difference pictures, she welcomed her three triplets into the world.
She captioned a picture of the newborns: "So happy to welcome these little ladies into the world 10/11/2020 (33+4) Robyn (4.2lbs), Sofia (5lbs) & Lillie (4lbs)."
Lindsay, who is a business analyst from Dublin, Ireland, welcomed the three girls prematurely via a C-section.
This pregnant Instagram star was left in tears after she was banned over a "sexual" baby bump picture:In one of the first comparison photographs posted to Instagram, she revealed that she was the same size at 18 weeks pregnant with triplets as she was when she was seven months pregnant with her son Alfie.
Because the triplets were all born prematurely, they developed at different rates in hospital, and the first baby to get taken home was little Robyn, as Lindsay revealed on Instagram.
Robyn was son joined by sister Sofia, and as Lindsay said, Alfie was in for just one more surprise when she finally brought baby Lillie home and reunited all three sisters.
Now, while Lindsay's pregnancy might give you the impression that it's very easy to know when you've got more than one bun in the oven, back in 2019, we reported the story of a woman who thought she was suffering from kidney stones when, in reality, she was carrying triplets!
"I started getting pains in my back and in my side felt like kidney stones cuz ive had them once before," Dannette Glitz explained in a post to Facebook. "so i just keept pushing on tell saturday i was in so much pain all i could do was lay in bed and cry it hurt to move and even breath... [sic]".
Because Danette's symptoms were so severe, she was taken to the hospital.
"[I] went to urgent care thinking im going to have to have surgery to break the stones up," she recalled.
This couldn't have been any further from the truth, however, as the urine sample she provided showed not only that she didn't have kidney stones - but that she was pregnant with twins!
Like Lindsay, Dannette went on to give birth via a C-section.
