Lindsay Lohan's former costars have rushed to congratulate her on her joyful baby news.
On Tuesday (March 14), the 36-year-old actress revealed to TMZ that she is expecting her first child with her husband Bader Shammas.
"We are very excited for our new family member to arrive and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives," Lohan told the outlet.
The Parents Trap alum then took to her Instagram to confirm the happy news to her 12.4 million followers by sharing a photo of a white baby onesie that read: "Coming soon…" in black script, and captioned it: "We are blessed and excited!"
Check out Lohan's post below:But, the parents-to-be aren't the only ones who are excited about this delightful news. The former child star's costars from Mean Girls have come out in full force to send her their well-wishes, and our hearts are melting.
Amanda Seyfried, who starred as Karen Smith in the 2004 classic, commented: "This is WONDERFUL NEWS!!" while Lacy Chabert, who played Gretchen Weiners, wrote: "I'm thrilled for you!!!!! So exciting," adding heart emojis.


Filmmaker Nancy Meyers, who directed the 1998 film The Parent Trap - in which Lohan starred as twin girls Hallie and Annie - also congratulated her, writing: "Lindsay!!!!!! I'm so excited for you!"

In addition to this, even Lohan's former arch nemesis from the mid-00s, Paris Hilton - who also recently welcomed her first baby via surrogate - shared her excitement about her news, penning: "Congratulations love! So happy for you. Welcome to the Mommy Club!"
The 43-year-old socialite's mom, Kathy Hilton, also remarked: "I am so happy for you," along with several heart and praise-hands emojis.


Many fans couldn't help but reference the actress' most iconic movies in their congratulatory messages, with one person stating: "If it's twins please don't separate them and then send them to the same summer camp years later where they finally meet and eat peanut butter and Oreos together."
A second person made a brilliant Mean Girls reference, writing: "On Wednesdays, we wear maternity clothes. Congrats @lindsaylohan!!"


The once-troubled star has been making a comeback in the film industry after keeping out of the spotlight following hardships in the 2000s that included multiple arrests and substance abuse.
In 2014, she starred in a docuseries that followed her life after she left rehab. She revealed on the show, during a sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey that she had experienced a miscarriage - which had interrupted the filming of the series.
"No one knows this - and we can finish after this - but I had a miscarriage for those two weeks that I took off," she disclosed. per BBC. "I couldn't move, I was sick... mentally, that messes with you."
The Freaky Friday actress' lovely pregnancy announcement comes after she and her beau tied the knot last July. Lohan announced their engagement with a series of photos on Instagram the previous November.
"My love. My life. My family. My future," she wrote in the caption.
