A woman has taken to social media to call out her pregnant sister over her "stupid" demands concerning the name of her unborn child.
Taking to Reddit under the username 'gorgonzoila', the unnamed woman detailed her family dispute in the 'Am I The A**hole?' subreddit - where users can post about a recent grievance in their lives and the online community can debate about who is in the wrong.
In the post, the woman reveals she has two pet cats called Tonks and Dio - with Tonks being named after a character from the Harry Potter books, and Dio being named after a DiGiorno pizza.
The woman then reveals that after three months of trying, her sister is pregnant and is now talking baby names.

Writing on the social media site, the Redditor then explains that she received a message explaining that her sister's boyfriend (the dad-to-be), has an uncle named Dio and that they would like to name their child after him if they were to have a boy.
However, due to the fact our Redditor already has a cat named Dio, a friend of her sister asked if she would rename it, or even rehome it - with the friend even offering to take the cat.
"No, you're not taking my cat and no, I'm not renaming him," the woman writes.

She continues: "Two hours later my sister calls me and just says something like she can't ever be over at our (mine and mom's) house with a cat named after her son."
The doting cat-owner adds that she "cannot understand" how her sister is functioning right now, and went on to describe her demands as "stupid".
She explains that the cat is 11, and although she knows she should care more about her unborn nephew than her cat, she doesn't want the feline to be "confused and scared" for the last half of his life.
At this point, the woman asks her fellow Redditors for advice, writing: "AITA for not renaming/rehoming my cat because my sister likes his name?"
Well, after receiving over 17,000 upvotes, the responses came in thick and fast, with many Redditors siding with the poster.
One person replied: "NTA [not the a**hole] the cat was called Dio for 11 years. Your sister can take a chill pill and so can the rest of the family and friends."

Another Redditor agreed, writing: "NTA. WTF is wrong with these people? They've lost their damn minds. Tell them they don't have your permission to name their kid after your cat."

In fact, responses to the post were overwhelmingly in favor of the poster and Dio.
