A best man stole the show after he delivered a speech that left the newlyweds red-faced, with some claiming it was the "best speech ever."
Being there for the groom as his best man and quite possibly best friend is a high honor that shouldn't be taken lightly, as years of bonding culminates into the big speech during the reception.
For Scottish groom Gary, he put his trust in his brother Derek - because after knowing someone your entire life, they're sure to have a few kind words to say after marrying the love of your life... right?
It's customary to throw in a couple of jokes during the best man speech, giving the groom a bit of a gentle ribbing as he's lovingly sent off into married life.
Check out the hilarious moment below:Derek, however, decided that his speech was going to pack a punch as he took everything to a new level when he congratulated Gary and his bride Kirsty.
The reception took place in Doubletree Dunblane Hydro in Scotland and was captured by videographers We Are One Wedding Films, and they knew the world had to see the chaotic speech that took place after it left Gary and Kirsty seriously red-faced.
Derek began: "One Christmas morning, I got up in my mom and dad's house, buzzing I may add. Walked down the stairs to open my presents only to be greeted with a slap from my mom. 'What did I tell you about bringing folk back here?'
"I say, 'What are you talking about mom? I've been in my bed the full night'. Obviously, she's not thinking about the golden child next door."
After having the wedding guests, and the newly married couple, curious as to where this was going, Derek continued: "So we're in the living room opening a couple of presents, me, my mom, and my dad, and we hear rustling from the wee room in the auld house, as we called it.
"At this point, I go up the stairs, open Gary's room, and there you have it, Kirsty Currie, lying with her legs at ten to two. She certainly never came down the chimney in that position anyway. Merry Christmas, Kirsty."
The punchline was met with hysterics from the guests, with Gary and Kirsty - though severely embarrassed - seeing the funny side and laughing through their pain.
The post was captioned "Bride and Groom react to probably the BEST Scottish Bestmas speech ever," and the video has gone on to amass more than 840,000 views.
Viewers on TikTok also found the speech hilarious, with one person saying: "Hahahahhaa as soon as he mentioned Christmas the bride and groom knew what he was going to say hahah."

A second added: "It’s her dad laughing his head off at the legs at ten to two [...] brilliant!!" and a third person confirmed: "This is the best speech I’ve ever heard tbh."

So there we have it - choose your best man wisely, or if you're struggling give Derek a call and see if he's free because he's clearly pretty good at it!
