Two parents have been left beaming with pride after their baby son was recorded saying "hello" at just eight weeks old. They now believe that he is the world's youngest talking baby.
Charlie-John Taylor-Mullington left his parents in awe when he replied to father Nick, as the doting dad was greeting the infant.
Mom Caroline quickly grabbed her phone to record the interaction between Nick and baby Charlie, as the youngster repeatedly said "hello" to his proud father. The video was recorded on Friday (August 21).
Check out the incredible moment below:Caroline, from Willaston, Engalnd, said: "It was magical. We had tears in our eyes. We were just in utter shock!
"My husband Nick had Charlie in his arms and was just saying 'hello' slowly to him. I think he loves Nick's deep voice.
"Charlie was saying 'hello' back a few times and we just decided to film it as we couldn't believe he was really talking."
And Charlie isn't the first genius in the family. As the couple's two-year-old daughter Lottie also left her family impressed she uttered her first words at just six-months-old.
Per WebMD, most babies won't start "cooing" until they reach three months, and at six months, most will only be using baby talk, with phrases like "ba-ba" or "da-da".
Watch the moment this 10-week-old baby says "I love you":WebMD also states that most babies between the ages of 12-18 months will only be able to say a few simple words like "mama" and "dadda" - making little Ronan an absolutely genius who is probably going to skip kindergarten, first, and second grade.
So it is no surprise that Caroline and Nick are excited to have two masterminds in the family.
Caroline said: "We had no idea of how quickly babies learn to speak when we had Lottie as we didn't have any other children to compare her progress too.
"When Charlie started speaking, we knew it was mega soon for him and definitely rare!
"Lottie absolutely adores her little brother. We're so proud of our kids. It's amazing having the pair of them.

Caroline continued: "We keep watching the video of Charlie all the time - it makes us feel so proud and we have a strong bond with him so early. He has so many traits already and he's a real smiler too!"
Father Nick added: "It was a shock, to say the least!
"I just had Charlie in my arms and he was responding to my voice - he looked up at me closely and then copied me. We couldn't believe what had just happened. I'm one proud daddy!"
