There's no denying that pigs in blankets are a real favorite when it comes to festive food. But would you have it as part of a dessert?
Well, thanks to cheesecake retailer Pleesecakes, you can absolutely eat it as part of your third course!
Dubbed "The Notorious P.I.B" (named after the late rapper Biggie Smalls), the company proudly admits their new creation is a "controversial" savory take on a classic dessert.

The company recently posted a couple of snaps of the "banging" and "unreal" dessert to their official Instagram page, writing in the caption:
"Introducing the Pigs in blanket Pleesecake!!! CONTROVERSIAL... sure. Delicious, tasty, [moreish], banging & UNREAL... most certainly.
"All savory, silky baked savory cheesecake with the added bonus of the classic festive pigs in blankets! Coming from the cheesecake experts, this is a SERIOUS bit of cheesecake!
"But we always welcome your feedback, comment below."

Per the Independent, the pigs in blankets cheesecake is made using cheddar cheese, oatmeal, thyme base and has a savory cheesecake filling.
The filling contains fresh thyme, sage, and pigs in blankets. It is topped with a sweet caramelized onion chutney, a sizable helping of pigs in blankets, fresh thyme, and rosemary.
Based on the response so far, it seems a popular choice. In fact, a number of people have taken to the company's Instagram to share their thoughts.
One user who goes by the handle @cvanstone82 had no qualms about eating a cake topped with pigs in blankets, writing: "I'd definitely give it a go, as would my in blanket obsessed fiancé!"
Another user with the handle @desertislandevents was seriously impressed, taking to the comments to write: "Wow, this looks ridiculous !!! we need for our Christmas parties !! [sic]"
Another user with the handle @snackcheesies gushed: "LOVE IT. You know we’re always down for a savory pleesecake."
A different user named @shinnyshinykey admitted to being skeptical at first, writing: "Initial reaction: what the everliving f**k? Now, I want to eat the whole thing now and get a second helping."
