Dad runs off with girlfriend's mom the day after his son's birth

A man has provoked controversy by running off with his girlfriend's mom the day after his son's birth.

According to The Sun, 24-year-old Jess Aldridge claims she has been devastated by her ex-partner Ryan Shelton leaving her in the lurch and running off with her own mother, Georgina Aldridge, after she returned home with their newborn son Reuben from the hospital.

Commenting on the bizarre situation, Jess, who hails from Gloucester in England, stated: "It’s the ultimate betrayal. You expect a new grandmother to fall in love with the baby — not the father."

"We were stuck together for months in the house during lockdown. It was so hard, especially as Ryan and mom were always being so flirty. I felt so uncomfortable, it was a horrible experience.

"It was disgusting. She would wear these short dresses and be all touchy-feely with him on the sofa."

Georgia also cheated on her own husband, Eric, while the two couples were stuck in the same house, and Jess claims that her mother and boyfriend would routinely stay up late drinking together long into the night.

Jess even claims that she once saw Ryan touching her mother's backside and that he tried to brush it off as no big deal, despite her accusations to the contrary. Jess confronted the pair, who denied her allegations.

All that changed when Jess was admitted to the Royal Gloucester Hospital on January 28, and gave birth to Ryan's second baby via caesarian section. During the procedure, Ryan broke up with her via text, telling her he was sick of her allegations.

Jess continued: "Ryan had seen baby Reuben for only a few minutes after he was born and then 10 minutes the day afterward as he was moving all his stuff.

"They were in such a rush. He had even had my mom waiting for him with the car packed in the car park.

"My mom told me she can’t help who she falls in love with, and Ryan told me the same thing. It was a huge kick in the teeth, they had been planning it throughout my whole pregnancy.

"She is meant to be a granny to my two children and helping me look after them, but instead, she’s off s****ing my boyfriend. I’m heartbroken and I’ve lost everything — my mom and the father to my kids."

The Daily Mail reports that Georgina and Ryan have now confirmed their relationship on Facebook, and remain defiant despite the vocal criticism of their actions.

Speaking to The Mail, 29-year-old Ryan stated: "I don't care what everyone thinks, I am in love with Georgina and I don't care who knows about it. Other people's opinions don't bother me at all. I know what's happened.

"There are two sides to every story and I know the truth behind all this. Not everyone will like what's happened but it's none of their business."

He added: "They know what has gone on here. There's more to this story than you think but that's all I want to say."
