Confused by the action, Jamie's father asks: "Why did you give me them for?"
To which Jamie responds: "I've just paid off your mortgage. I've just rung the bank and paid off every single penny left on your mortgage."
He adds: "You now own this whole house. I swear. You've worked your whole life so now you can actually retire."
Jamie's dad can be seen shaking his head in disbelief while repeating the word "no". Meanwhile, Jamie convinces him that this really is the reality.
Eventually, it becomes clear to the doing dad that his son is being deadly serious and that he can now retire early.
Needless to say, he was overwhelmed by the touching gesture and broke down in tears.
The father also tells Jamie that he simply cannot accept such substantial financial help.
But Jamie tells him: "I've already done it", with his dad responding: "You're the best son in the world you can have."
He then hands the keys back to Jamie, saying: "It's in the will. The house is yours - what's mine is yours."
He continued: "I love you so much. You paid off my mortgage, I've put you in my will. You retire me for life so I've set you up for life."
The video, captioned "I love you Dad", ends with the father and son hugging.
In a comment, Jamie explained that he was able to afford to pay off his dad's mortgage after "doing Vine for four years and YouTube for 10 years", adding: "It has been my only goal."
The heartwarming moment has since been viewed 2.3 million times at the time of writing.
