A groom has caused a debate online after using his wedding vows to issue a curious seven-word statement.
A wedding day is one of the biggest days in anyone's life, and with that comes intense planning.
Usually (you would hope) the bride and groom are on the same page and neither will do anything wild on the day.
However, as we've come to know thanks to social media, some people just can't help but have a little outburst.
That being said, if both the bride and groom are cool with it then there's no harm done.
But I'll leave you to make your own judgements in this case...
James Hachem, entrepreneur and co-founder of Alya Skin and Sasha Therese, tied the knot with influencer Antonia Apostolou in a glamorous ceremony in Italy this June.
While everything about the day screamed sophistication - stunning fashion, breathtaking location, and an Instagram-worthy setup - it was one spontaneous outburst during the vows that really caught everyone’s attention.
In a video shared by the bride herself on TikTok, Hachem interrupted the vows to take in the moment and deliver a now-infamous line that shocked and delighted in equal measure.
“F*** me does she not look insane?” he said, turning to admire his bride.
The moment was met with laughter and cheers from guests, while Apostolou - now Hachem on social media - was clearly amused, chuckling alongside the crowd.
She captioned the clip: “Aussies in the middle of their elegant Italian wedding.”
The video has since clocked up more than 500,000 views.
Despite the bride seeming to be okay with the outburst, people online have differing opinions.
Comments came in thick and fast, with many loving the bold moment. “Gold,” one user declared.
“You married the right man,” another added. “Best moment,” someone else wrote, while another commenter called it “kind of cute,” suggesting: “He was nervous and blurted out what he thinks.”
Others embraced the Australian nature of the remark, with one viewer noting: “Can’t get more Aussie than this."
But not everyone was won over by the impromptu outburst. Some felt the swear word spoiled the elegance of the event. “That ruined the classy moment,” one person claimed. “I would be mortified,” said another. “I would die of embarrassment,” added a third.
What do you make of the viral moment?
