Weddings are stressful events. It's supposed to be the happiest day of your life, and yet everyone who wants to tie the knot has a sense of fear: a feeling that, at any moment, something could go horribly, publicly, wrong.
For example, this week a bride and groom were left mortified at their own nuptials after the bride announced one of her bowel movements on the groom's microphone.
Check out the mortifying footage in the video below:The incident in question was recorded by a videographer, who was filming the couple's special day. The bride and groom had forgotten that they had microphones attached, to pick up the sound of their vows.
However, just when the blushing bride, looking almost saintly in her white gown, reached the end of the aisle and looked into the eyes of her husband-to-be, she can be heard to whisper in his ear: "I took a really big dump right before I came down the aisle." It seems like no-one else attending heard the exchange, but the embarrassing pronouncement was recorded for posterity.
Check out this video of a bride who had a bouquet of doughnuts instead of flowers:After making her toilet-related confession, the groom laughed and asked: "What the hell is wrong with you?" before reminding the bride that: "The videographer heard what you just said." The videographer then zoomed in on the bride's face, and she can be heard muttering: "Oh God."
The hilarious incident was shared on social media after talk show host Jimmy Fallon took to Twitter to ask: "It’s Hashtags time! Tag a tweet with #WeddingFail and then tell us a funny or weird story from a wedding you were at. Could be on the show!"
