When you start a family, it's up to you as parents to decide what's in the best interest of your kids. And sometimes, what you decide is best for the health and happiness of your children might clash with what other people think is best.
We're a world of diverse opinions and views on things - not least on matters related to raising little ones. Some people tend to stick to more traditional forms of parenting and others take a more unconventional approach.
For instance, one particular mom divided parents after revealing she shares a giant bed with her husband and five kids.
Check out the mom-of-five's TikTok reveal below:If you are a parent to young children, you may be familiar with the concept of co-sleeping.
As you might expect from the name, co-sleeping is a practice in which babies and toddlers sleep close to their parents rather than in a different room.
But while people are generally more tolerant of the idea of parents sleeping in the same room as babies and toddlers, they're generally less so the older the children get.
That's why when a Tik Tok user called Amanda Scott - also known by her handle @littlesouthernwife - revealed on the video-sharing platform that she and her husband regularly co-sleep with their five children, some people voiced their disapproval.

Writing on Instagram, Amanda said: "It’s queen + king mattresses side by side in a basic bed frame that he cut, put together and stained. Act of love level a million.

"Our kids co-sleep with us (well, the smaller ones do) and it’s so much easier than trying to cram into a queen in the middle of the night."
In a follow-up video, Amanda explained that their eldest children now sleep in their own beds, writing:
"They make the transition when they are ready and we fully support them and encourage them to sleep in their beds. They are also super independent for those worried."
She also added to those concerned about the parents' sex life: "My husband and I have a healthy sex life and explore other spaces in our home when we want intimacy."
The comments were divided, with one user stating: "In my opinion co-sleeping is ok for a baby sometimes. But after that they should get their own bed, own room) if available."
Amanda responded to the user, writing: "That's your opinion. It didn't work for our fam. Kids kept coming to our bed at the time a queen size in the middle of the night."

Others agreed completely with Amanda:

What do you think? Is co-sleeping a good idea or should kids of a certain age stick to their own rooms?
