A mom-to-be has taken to social media to slam her husband after his disgusting prank left her "vomiting EVERYWHERE", but he refused to clean it up.

Sharing her story on Reddit's 'Am I The A**hole' page (where users share a recent grievance in their lives and users decide who was in the wrong), the woman revealed that she is currently five months pregnant and has recently been suffering with "God-awful nausea".

Writing under the handle 'fecalsoda', she explains: "I had a difficult 12 hour day at the office (I'm a social worker) and the only meal I got to eat today was dinner because I actually had a bit of an appetite (grilled cheese and chicken noodle soup, ginger ale)."

Tasty. However, when the Redditor decided to retreat to bed with her husband, her evening took a rather disgusting turn. She writes:

"My husband thought it would be cute/hilarious to Dutch oven me the second I crawled into bed this evening, and hold me under the covers for more than 10 seconds.

"I ended up vomiting EVERYWHERE because of the smell. If you drink beer, you know what beer farts smell like. Vomit got all over the sheets, comforter, bedside table, myself, him, and the carpet."

(For those of you who perhaps are struggling to picture the scene, a "Dutch oven" is when somebody holds another person under the duvet after farting. Yes, it is disgusting but, apparently, some husbands think it is funny.)

The mom-to-be continues: "Well, he finally let me go after that and started yelling at me that I made a mess while I was still heaving and taking off my pajamas so I could take a shower and wash the vomit out of my hair."

However, even more chaos unfolded when she screamed at her husband to clean up the mess. "His response? He’s not cleaning it because it’s 'gross' and it was MY vomit," she writes.

"I slammed the bathroom door, called him an a** and told him I was carrying HIS child and have been feeling like s**t this whole pregnancy."

Unbelievably, when she got out of the shower and into a clean set of pajamas, the mom realized that her husband had gone to his sister's.

Then she writes: "I texted [his sister] and she told me it was a prank and I was being a b***h to him and got too upset. I’m fuming right now. AITA?"

In response to the woman's story, many Redditors (perhaps as predicted) were on the side of the mom-to-be.

User  HoldFastO2 wrote in the comments section: "Who the f**k thinks it's okay to hold their partner bodily under the covers for 10 seconds to fart in their face, at all? My GF would be p***ed if I did that to her, rightfully so, and she isn't pregnant."

And a second, user Bogg99, added: "NTA. Who the f**k dutch ovens their pregnant wife? Also I'm pretty sure if your pregnant wife vomits after a 12 [hour] shift, you should clean it up regardless of whether or not you caused it."
