The one sex position that men love but women hate is revealed
Matters of sex are unsurprisingly inextricably linked to proclivity, but there is one particular sex position that has men and women vehemently disagreeing with each other.
Many relationship experts will attest to disagreements being a fundamental part of most romantic setups, within reason at least.
Whether it be over whose turn it is to empty the dishwasher, cook dinner, or tidy up, or less trivial matters like political alignment and social views.
However, there is one particular topic that has men and women divided, which relates to coital preference.
With sex being an act of shared love, passion, and mutual appreciation, there is one contentious position that has women and their male counterparts at loggerheads.
The averse cowgirl
Reverse cowgirl, a placement that has one partner lying down with the other facing away on top, is a favourite amongst the former, who are required to do little work while their significant other takes control.
This intimate pose allows the partner lying down to enjoy an alternative view, spicing up the act of fornication from a different angle.
Yet, this comes at the expense of their fellow lovemaker taking the lead, who is forced to simply look at their partner’s legs.
Away from the disconnected view, this is reportedly an uncomfortable experience for those bouncing away on top, with social media users voicing their contempt for the unpopular sexual configuration.
“I hate this one,” a user declared.
“It’s so uncomfortable… plus staring at feet, plus feeling awkward about my a**hole pointed at him.”
Another user provided further clarification, saying: “It’s like getting poked in the wrong direction. Super uncomfortable and the view isn’t great.”
What do the 'sexperts' say?
Sex therapist, Cate Campbell, added her explanation about why the position can be uncomfortable for some people, telling Metro: "Having their back to their partner is a major issue for some who may say they feel a bit used, particularly when they don't experience much pleasure from the position."
Not only does it have the propensity to be uncomfortable, but the posture considerably increases the risk of penile injury, with the movement bending the phallus into a position that can cause a fracture.
Aside from a potentially raunchier perspective for one partner, and the chance to catch up on some Netflix for the other, reverse cowgirl appears to be a position that is more likely to lead to discomfort, disinterest, and a trip to A&E for the two parties involved.
