Have you ever noticed that Leonardo DiCaprio's girlfriends always have one thing in common?
Nope, I'm not talking about their model looks, their blonde hair, or the fact that they're all somehow still not Kate Winslet (yup, we're still shipping Jack and Rose 21 years after the release of Titanic).
I'm, instead, referring to their age.
If you haven't noticed that the Wolf of Wall Street actor tends to date younger women, you must have been living at the bottom of a very long, dark, celebrity gossip-less hole for the past few decades.
However, a recent viral post from a Reddit user makes it painstakingly clear exactly how old Leo is willing to go when choosing a lady to date.
The Redditor, who goes by the name 'u/TrustLittleBrother', created a hilarious graph that shows the relationship between the Romeo + Juliet star's age and that of the women he dates. Remarkably, it shows that as Leo's age steadily increases, his girlfriend's ages stay much the same.
It also shows that all of the women are under the age of 25 when they start dating him - and by the time they have reached this grand old age, they have broken up. In fact, he's only dated three women who were 25 - models Bar Refaeli, Kelly Rohrbach and Nina Agdal - before breaking it off, and, according to the chart, the average age of his flames is 22.9 years old.
Of course, we could have pretty much guessed that this was the case - but seeing it in chart-form really brings it home. People on Reddit certainly found it amusing, with the graph quickly gaining thousands of comments and 22,000 upvotes.
The chart begins with the Oscar winner's relationship with model Gisele Bundchen in 1999. She was 18 and he was 24, and they stayed together for five years before splitting in 2004, with Gisele claiming she wanted to change her lifestyle, while her boyfriend was keen to keep living the party life.
Next up was supermodel Bar Refaeli, who had an on-and-off romance with the movie star for more than five years, starting when she was 20 and ending when she was 25. After, he moved on to then-23-year-old actress Blake Lively - the only one of his girlfriends who was not a model, although she easily could be.
When this didn't work out, roughly five months later, the Titanic actor dated Victoria Secret model Erin Heatherton, 22, before going on to romance German model Toni Garrn from 2013 to 2014 when she was 20 and 21.
By this point, Leo is hitting his 40s and begins seeing swimwear model Kelly Rohrbach, 25, but when their romance came to an amicable end in December due to "intense work schedules," he went on to meet Danish model Nina Adgal, 24.
Claims from friends that "it's different with this girl" fall to pieces when they separate a year later, with reports claiming that the playboy still wasn't ready to say goodbye to the bachelor life quite yet.
Finally, we come to present day 2019. At the age of 44, Leo is currently dating Argentine model and actress Camila Morrone, who is 21 years old. This, of course, makes for a 23 year age difference, with Camila's mother, actress Lucila Solá, being two years younger than the movie star.
So, will this be the girl to finally make Leo settle down? That remains to be seen. All we know is that, if he does eventually move on to a new lady, she'll probably be under 25.
