A woman who was born with two vaginas has opened up about the vile comments she's received from men.

Annie Charlotte was diagnosed with uterus didelphys at the age of 16 and has been open about her condition.

Uterus didelphys occurs when two ducts that typically fuse to form a single uterus fail to combine, resulting in two separate uteruses, per Cleveland Clinic.

In some cases, this condition also leads to the development of two cervixes and two vaginal canals.

Remarkably, this means a woman with the condition could theoretically become pregnant in both reproductive systems simultaneously.

However, Charlotte said the challenges of living with uterus didelphys go beyond the medical implications.

“Now I’m on a lot of dating apps, and people will be like, ‘You’re the two p****s girl,’” she told news.com.au.

Charlotte said her condition often becomes the sole focus of conversations with potential partners.

“I get a lot of questions, and it often turns explicit,” she said, explaining that men frequently ask if she’s “had two at a time.”

When she tells them she hasn’t, the men often offer to “sort her out”.

She said how rarely anyone shows interest in her personality or who she is beyond her condition.

In one particularly shocking encounter, Charlotte recalled dating a high-profile man who initially seemed promising. However, during an evening with him and his friend, he offered an unsettling proposal.

“Next minute, he said he’d been thinking he and his mate ‘wanted to be tunnel buddies in separate vaginas,’” Charlotte recounted.

She said the comment felt premeditated, as though he had rehearsed it. Though she briefly entertained the idea, the situation ultimately didn’t proceed due to other circumstances.

Another time, a man arrived at a date accompanied by a friend.

“He said, ‘Well, two vaginas, so I thought two guys would be appropriate,’” Charlotte said, describing the moment as deeply dehumanizing.

Charlotte said these experiences have left her feeling disrespected and objectified.

“With my dating life, I am more than just my two vaginas,” she said. “It makes me feel rubbish. People are just seeing me as a sex object.”

While Charlotte acknowledged that sex is an important part of a relationship, she said she longs for potential partners to see her as a whole person rather than a curiosity or checklist.

She described the behavior as “deflating” and admitted she has temporarily stopped using dating apps, though she remains open to meeting someone.

Charlotte joked that she wishes somebody would hit on her at the gym as it's the only place she's hopeful of meeting a partner.

Despite these challenges, Charlotte has embraced openness about her condition, saying her honesty has helped others.

When she was younger, she wasn’t as open about having two vaginas and told people individually.

Now, Charlotte often receives messages from others who feel empowered to discuss their own insecurities or concerns about their genitalia after hearing her story.

She has expressed pride in who she is and said she wouldn't change for the world.
