A relationship expert has revealed the three most overhyped sex positions for women, but not everyone agrees.

Dr. Emily Morse, 50, took to Instagram to ask her followers if the three listed positions were only a good time in theory and not reality.

"There are some sex acts that don’t live up to all the hype," the Michigan-based doctor captioned the post. "Sure, they might look like a good time in porn, but when we try - not so much IRL [in real life].

"Good sex is about doing what FEELS good… and not just about what *looks* good. Do you agree/disagree? What’s missing from this list?"

So, what are the three positions we here you ask? Shower sex, 69, and reverse cowgirl.

We assume that these positions will naturally be familiar to most people reading this article, but if they aren't, feel free to Google them at your leisure.

But the question remains: do you think these positions are overrated?

Well, the majority of the relationship expert's 338,000 followers did not agree, with many taking to the comments section of the post to defend the various positions.

Reacting to the list, one Instagram user wrote: "69 is great with the right person!!"

A second added: "Reverse cowgirl is elite so you can both watch the movie."

A third remarked: "Wait, I have to disagree with all of the above!! Shower can be tricky, but in the right location, also amazing!"

A fourth added: "Sex on the beach is pretty awful too."

A third wrote: "i love a good 69 sesh but the other two definitely don't live up to the hype."

However, a fifth rightfully pointed out that when it comes to intimate acts, the person you are getting up close and personal with is ultimately what makes all the difference.

They wrote: "I think it all depends on who you're doing it with."

What do you think? Do you agree with the expert's opinion or are you willing to stand up for one of these positions (so to speak)?
