A woman's mid-flight act has left social media divided this week.
On June 15, Twitter user Brandon (@in_jedi) shared a video a female passenger on his flight, along with the caption: "The most criminal activity I’ve ever seen on an airplane. This woman was hopping over other passengers the whole 7 hour flight. "
Brandon also tagged the often viral Passenger Shaming page, who retweeted the video with the caption: "do you happen to have an axe?"
In the short clip, a female passenger can be seen wearing what appears to be pajamas and socks. She then starts to climb over a number of passengers in order to get to her seat, using the armrests at footholds.
Check out the divisive clip below:As well as Brandon describing the woman's actions as "criminal", one passenger replied to the video, writing: "Nobody’s going to talk about those filthy socks and the fact that she’s flying in pajamas?"
A second added: "Someone better call ahead for the police. Because when we land one of us is going to jail. Probably me. Keep those dirty feet away from me."
"An opportune time for turbulence to kick in," another commented.
However, not everybody took issue with the woman's actions.
Some people pointed out that her climbing technique was more convenient than the other passengers having to stand up and move out of the way, especially as one of them appears to have a child sitting on his lap.
"So each time she has to leave, or get back to her seat, her fellow passengers including baby, have to get up and jostle in the aisle," one Twitter user wrote. "Much easier to do what she did and those seated near her didnt seem to mind. That is what matters most."
Another tweeted: "I’d actually prefer it... instead of getting out of my chair."
One Twitter user even defended the woman for wearing what looked to be her pajamas on the flight.
So, what do you think of the woman's actions? Personally speaking, it wouldn't have bothered me - but let us know what you think in the comments section.
