TikTok has catapulted a lot of people to fame for likely or unlikely reasons. On the video-sharing platform, if you learn a dance well enough, you can become a star.
And now one viral TikTok couple has dramatically increased the attention they're receiving by announcing that they're also step-siblings.
Watch the couple joke about their parents' reaction to their unusual relationship:

At this point, it's worth noting that the pair aren't related by blood, so there's nothing potentially dangerous for any children they might have, about their relationship.
Diana Camila Avila and Jordie Vena previously received attention on the platform through Jordanna putting on a high-pitched 'baby voice' - an act which has earned the pair over nine million likes, 600K followers, and more views than we could possibly count.
However, when the couple stopped posting the TikTok content that their followers on @alphafamilia had come to know and love and instead revealed that they were step-siblings, not everyone was supportive of the relationship.
In the video below, Dina reveals how the first kiss with her stepbrother went:

In the comments sections of their videos, particularly those where they are kissing, the couple has been inundated with disapproving messages about their relationship.
One TikTok user wrote: "Uh guys pls break up this is not right [sic]."
A second questioned: "Is the 'shock value' worth it[?]"
Meanwhile, a third commenter was less critical, writing: "On a social level I can see why its weird. On a legal level jts okay, and on a moral level. who does this harm? their kids gonna be normal [sic]."
As per the Daily Mail, the couple unsurprisingly met through their parents, and they have been dating since 2017, having met six years ago.
Diana and Jordie revealed that they had their first kiss during a family movie night, and in one TikTok video, the couple justified their relationship by saying that "siblings are often attracted to each other".
