A woman took to TikTok to share the moment she discovered a secret room in her new house, a decision she later regrets.
In the video, which currently has 3.4 million views, she explains: "We bought this house a few months ago and we’ve been slowly cleaning out different cabinets and closets. I was working on this one and as you can see, the old lady that lived here saved everything."
She adds: "But I noticed that this moved and looking into it, I can see there’s a space back here. So my kids said I should tape it while moving it and see what’s back there."
The first thing Rooney comes across when she peeks into the hidden room is a sinister-looking doll, prompting her to gasp.

Some days later, the woman posted another video on TikTok where she plucks up the courage to explore the contents of the secret room.

"There’s no one home right now so I don’t think this is such a good idea but I am dying to see what is back here," she says while recording her findings.
Rooney comes across all sorts of things including eerie-looking dolls, china, and old clothes.
Months later, she posts yet another video in the hidden room, captioned: "I think the secret room should have stayed hidden."

Rooney films several boxes comprised of items from the room. These include a box of china, watches, and old coins.
The woman then tells TikTok viewers that she plans to "lock this room back up" and leave it to "who it belongs to" - that is, the creepy dolls.
